Dirk Smet, fabric agent
Since 1995, I am working as a textile agent. I worked with all the major brands in Belgium, the Nederlands and France.
More and more, I got aware about the huge piles of unused first quality fabrics sleeping in the warehouses of fabric producers, brands and designers.
That's why I wanted to do something with deadstock fabrics (fabrics waiting to be destroyed) using what is already produced, instead of making new productions.
At WASTED FABRICS, we offer an enormous choice of first quality European deadstock fabrics. Thanks to 30 years of experience in the facion business, we made a lot of contacts and we created our little network of "fabric searchers".
Our customers are hobby sewists, designers, students, brands and fabric shops.

Once a month, we try to open our warehouse to everyone for a stocksale. The dates are announced on our social media channels.
