DESIGNERS DEADSTOCK FABRICS

WASTED FABRICS – Giving fabrics a second chance

At WASTED FABRICS, we give a second life to designer deadstock fabrics – for the joy of sewists, fashion students, brands and creative minds everywhere.

All our fabrics are European, high-quality deadstock, available in standard 3-meter cuts.
That means: nothing is newly produced for us. Ever.

Choosing deadstock is one of the most sustainable ways to create your own garments — and we’re here to make it beautiful, inspiring and easy.

Happy sewing!

  • ORIGIN OF OUR FABRICS

Our Commitment to Local & Sustainable Sourcing. All our deadstock fabrics are sourced in Europe, mainly in Italy and France — renowned for their textile excellence.

We only select recent, high-quality, fashion-forward fabrics, ensuring every piece you receive is both beautiful and relevant.

By sourcing exclusively in Europe, we avoid long-distance transport, which helps us keep our ecological footprint as low as possible — and our values intact.

  • CUT BY 3 METERS

At Wasted Fabrics, all our fabrics are sold in standard 3-meter cuts – and here’s why:

It helps us avoid shipping lots of small packages.

3 meters is a great amount for most sewing projects.

It allows us to keep our prices fair and competitive.

It streamlines the work in our warehouse and keeps things running smoothly.

By standardising our process, we reduce waste, save time — and make sure you get the best fabric, fast.

  • WAREHOUSE

We totally get it — choosing fabrics is also about touching, feeling, even smelling them. That’s why you’re always welcome to visit our warehouse in Drogenbos!

If you’re picking up an order, you’ll also get the chance to explore our fabric shelves and hidden gems.
The warehouse is open Monday to Thursday, from 10 am to 6pm, Friday from 10am to 4pm. We recommend sending us a quick message before dropping by – just to be sure someone from the team is ready to welcome you. Visiting with a group, sewing class or creative collective? You can book an appointment directly on our website — we’d love to host you!

We also try to organize pop-up events in other cities — stay tuned via our Instagram to find out where we’ll be next!
